1. I've Got Sunshine: According to the National Weather Service, today will be mostly sunny, with a high near reaching near 70, another beautiful spring day. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 51.

2. Upset Bulldogs: Despite having defeated Shore Regional twice during the regular season, Rumson-Fair Haven’s girls lacrosse team could not hold off the Blue Devils in Wednesday’s Shore Conference Tournament championship game. Top-seeded Rumson lost 9-7 to the second-seeded Blue Devils on the artificial turf at Monmouth University’s Kessler Field to drop to 1-4 all time against Shore in SCT championship games. The Bulldogs entered the game as the defending tournament champions, having vanquished Shore in last season’s final, but trailed by a goal at halftime and could not recover. 3. New Faces Curbside: During the first week in May, Fair Haven residents saw new faces at their curbs picking up their trash. For the first time, Fair Haven has outsourced its garbage pick up to a private company. According to borough officials, having M&S Waste Management take over garbage pick up will save the borough about $100,000 this year and $200,000 in the next two years. 4. Resident Facing RX Charges: The Asbury Park Press is reporting that Jacqueline LoPresti, a licensed Little Silver osteopathy doctor and Fair Haven resident, is scheduled to appear before a federal court Wednesday as a defendant named in an illegal drug trafficking network. LoPresti and New York doctor Hassan Lahham have been charged with illegally writing over 6,000 prescriptions for over 500,000 oxycodone tablets between Jan. 2009 and Dec. 2010. 5. RFH Arts: Feel like getting a dose of the arts? Your in luck! There are a couple of arts events happening around Rumson and Fair Haven today. Head on over to the Knollwood School tonight to see “A 1950’s Rock and Roll Horror Show” at 7:00 p.m. put on the the Knollwood Performing Arts Troupe. Or, head over to Holy Cross in Rumson to check out their celebration of the arts festival called "A Splash of Joy" at 7:00 p.m.
