3. A Great Trade: With the high prices of movie tickets these days leaving you feeling as if you're being bled dry, why not actually donate a modest quantity of blood and receive a free movie ticket in exchange? New Jersey Blood Services is holding a community blood drive this Friday at the Monmouth Mall and is giving every donor a free ticket to the AMC Lowes Theaters. 4. Leave Your Mark: The Fair Haven Historic Preservation Commission has found a way to raise money to restore the inside of Bicentennial Hall and allow residents to become a part of it's history. They are making a beautiful quilt and through donations, residents can have their names put on a picket fence on the quilt which will be framed and hung in the Bicentennial Hall for the anniversary this upcoming year. If you would like to be included on this quilt, contact Pat Drummond at patdrummond@comcast.net.
