1. Sunny Today, Shower Tonight: According to the National Weather Service, today will be partly sunny with a high near 84 degrees. There will be an east wind at 8 mph becoming south. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 72 degrees and a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5:00a.m. There will be a south wind between 5 and 8 mph. 

2. Meeting Round-up: The Rumson Board of Education discussed the upcoming school year during their meeting at the Forrestdale School and said a final good-bye to Scott Feder as Superintendent on Wednesday night. 3. Jump In: It appears that Sea Bright and other Monmouth County beaches have not been affected by a recent raw sewerage spill from a New York City wastewater treatment plant. The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has sampled water from Sandy Hook and the Raritan Bay, and the Monmouth County Health Department has done the same at Monmouth County beaches. Both agencies have found no traces of contaminants from the New York City's North River Wastewater Treatment Plant, according to a release from the DEP. Click to read more about this topic.

4. From Rumson to the U.S. Open: With two state tournament victories under his belt this season, Rumson's Bill Britton heads into this week's U.S. Senior Open at the famedInverness Club in Toledo, Ohio with a load of confidence. Britton, who has served as Director of Golf Instruction & Schools for Trump National Golf Club in nearby Colts Neck for the past three years, will tee off at 1:05 p.m. today. 5. Fair Enough: The 37th Annual Monmouth County Fair kicked-off Wednesday in Freehold, bringing five days of rides, contests, food and amusement for the whole family. The Fair, sponsored by the Monmouth County Park System and the Monmouth County 4-H Association, will be held on the East Freehold Park Showgrounds at 1500 Koslowski Road and runs through Sunday. The following is a list of what is happening at the fair tonight:
