5 Things You Need to Know Today: Jan. 17

Here is a list of 5 things you need to know today:

1. Rain and Clouds: According to the National Weather Service, today will be filled with rain and a high near 51. It will be breezy, with a southwest wind between 17 and 20 mph. Tonight, the showers will continue before dinner time and then it will be cloudy with a low around 38 degrees with a west wind around 18 mph.

2. Love Animals:  in will host the Monmouth County SPCA's Valentine's Brunch, as the shelter will honor its volunteers and recently-created advertising campaign.
