1. Sunny With Evening Showers: Friday will be partly sunny with a chance of rain after 7 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high for the day will be near 52 degrees and the overnight low will be around 41.

2. Oceanic Free Library: The knitters group will meet Friday at 2 p.m. at the . All levels are welcome.

The library will be closed Saturday for New Year’s Eve.

3. Town Reorganization Meetings: The Rumson Borough Council will hold its reorganization meeting on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at Borough Hall.

The Fair Haven Borough Council will reorganize on Sunday at noon at Bicentennial Hall.

4. Centennial Banners: Come January, Fair Haven will be installing banners on lamp posts along River Road honoring the borough’s centennial. The banners feature the town’s centennial logo, which was designed by Wade Davis V.

5. Ski/Snowboard Club: The Forrestdale School Ski/Snowboard Club is accepting registration forms for its trip to Windham Mountain on Jan. 7. Seventh and eighth grade students will be given priority until Wednesday, Jan. 4. Download the registration form from the club’s Web site.
