Ferguson Dental Care Celebrates Children’s Dental Health Care Month

They are raffling off a Sonicare® For Kids electronic toothbrush and giving away children's dental health care kit throughout the month of February.

Every February the American Dental Association (ADA) promotes National Children’s Dental Health Care Month, and a local dentist is getting involved.

According to the ADA website, "developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums."

During February, the team at will be working to raise awareness of children’s dental health care issues.

“Tooth decay is the single most common chronic childhood disease. Our team is eager to talk to people about simple things that can be done to keep children’s teeth healthy," said Dr. Paul Ferguson. "At Ferguson Dental Care, our goal is for people to maintain healthy teeth for their lifetime, and the best way to do that is to develop healthy habits as a child.”

During February, the public is invited to visit Ferguson Dental Care at 479 River Road and enter a raffle for a Sonicare® For Kids electronic toothbrush. Every entrant will receive a children’s dental health care kit.

“We are happy to talk to anyone about dental health care for children. Please stop in to say hi and enter our raffle, even if you are not a patient,” said Dr. Ferguson.
