The outdoor dining chairs and tables are still stacked up. The lights are out. The sign still says, "Closed."
But there's one small difference in the closed up scenario at the relatively new, beleaguered business Balderose Fine Foods in Fair Haven. The sign that once said there was hope to have the eatery reopened by Oct.1 and revealing fiscal reorganization was being worked on now says there is a plan and the store will reopen.
It's just a matter of when and when is vague. "We now hope to have a plan to get this store open, hopefully in just a few weeks," the sign says. "... but the question is when."
