Vascular Disease

The vascular system includes the arteries, veins and capillaries that carry blood to and from the heart.  Problems of the vascular system are common and can be serious.  Interventional cardiologist Peter M. Farrugia, MD, Cardiology, Monmouth Medical Center, will discuss the arterial effects of the lower extremities including chronic venous insufficiencies which are commonly associated with varicose veins as well as latest treatment options.
