Wednesday's Concert Time on the Hook

It's that time of year when a series of free Wednesday night concerts is hosted by the Sandy Hook Foundation on Sandy Hook.

Crowds gather to be entertained by an array of different musical groups on the shores of the Hook at Beach Area E at 6 p.m. every week. The first in the series of this year's 10 summertime concerts featured The Nerds.

Tomorrow night The Haven will play classic rock on the Hook shores.

Photographer Russ DeSantis shared his photos of the event with Patch,  estimating that the group played to a crowd of thousands.
