Storm Shift Prompts Winter Weather Advisory

Forecast calls for rain on Monday

The snow on Sunday that was supposed to be no more than a dusting could leave a much heavier impression on our area.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 1 p.m. on Sunday until 1 a.m. on Monday. The current forecast calls for anywhere between one and three inches during the day today before a mix of rain, sleet and snow tonight and rain and sleet in the later hours before shifting to rain overnight. There could be close to half an inch of accumulation tonight.

By Monday, the snow should clear but it will likely be a rainy day with close to half an inch possible before the day is done and a high temperature of 49 degrees.
