RFH Hockey Association Fundraiser Saturday

Jersey Shore cover band The Haven will perform.

The Rumson-Fair Haven High School Hockey Association will be hosting a fundraising event on Saturday at the Fair Haven Knights of Columbus Hall at 200 Fair Haven Road from 7 to 11:30 p.m.

Billed as a "Grown-Ups" night, the evening will include food, fun, and live entertainment by popular Jersey Shore cover band The Haven. A raffle will also be featured.

The donation of $40 per person to attend will help support the RFH Hockey Program, which is entirely self-funded.

Now in its 15th season, the RFH Hockey Program features both varsity and junior varsity squads and plays home games at the Red Bank Armory. The varsity team reached the New Jersey High School Playoffs for the 12th time during the 2012-13 season and also makes regular appearances in the Shore Conference playoffs.

"As the program increases in popularity, especially at the junior varsity level, our costs continue to rise as well," said RFH Hockey Association President Bill Folker in a press release. "RFH Hockey can only continue to grow through the generosity of the community."
