The RFH Class of '78: Together Again

RFHers celebrated 35 years since high school at a main event on Saturday night at Salt Creek Grille, part of a three-day extravaganza.

If you asked anyone, they'd tell you it wasn't a 35-year reunion, but that they were 35.

How could it be? How could 35 years go by so quickly with barely a change — in mentality, anyway? Members of the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Class of '78 who once did the hustle in boat shoes at alligator shirts at a senior variety show found one another again at the Salt Creek Grille Saturday night.

There was some Springsteen on the iPod and a few pranks, as usual, but, really some things and people just never change.

And that's a good thing, because this class was known to be one of the most academically competitive and socially charismatic in RFH history — smart and fun. Some from other classes even showed up.

Everyone had the wrong name tags, because they figured if you don't recognize them, then they really don't want to talk to you anyway. And, the placement of the tags became an all-night prank. No, no one has grown up yet. Shhhh ... They don't know how old they are.

There were about 100 reunionites. Take a look at the pics above and tell us who you recognize and what hasn't changed.
