Fair Haven Mayor Ben Lucarelli was one of about 50 cyclists biking from Red Bank to Holmdel and back in honor of Cole Porter, the Shrewsbury cyclist seriously injured in Sunday's Tour de Fair Haven.
Porter remains in Intensive Care at Jersey Shore University Medical Center after suffering head trauma from the race collision.
Friends have created a Facebook page for support and updates on the popular triathlete and Shrewsbury fireman. The group decided to ride Tuesday night as a show of support for Porter's ride toward recovery.
