In the High Jump, junior, Anna Finn, jumped 4’8” to take 6th place and advance to the State Finals. Finn scored 1 more point for the team.

In all, ten girls from the team advance to the NJSIAA State Group Championship on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 where they will face Group 2 favorites Delsea Regional High School and Ramapo High School.  Mcloone added, “[w]e know our girls are tough competitors and we are not just going to give this to Ramapo and Delsea. They are going to have to earn it.”

The meet will begin at 4 pm at the John Bennett Indoor Sports Complex at 1519 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.  Also advancing to the Group meet from the RFH Boys Indoor Track Team are Senior Jason Bryan who won the shot put with an RFH School Record of 60’00” and senior, Jacob Rue who advanced with an RFH School Record of 11’6” in the pole vault.
