Fair Haven Insurance Broker Receives “Distinguished Service Award” from National Association of Health Underwriters

David Mordo, a Fair Haven health insurance general agent/broker, has received the Distinguished Service Award at the National Association of Health Underwriters’ (NAHU) 84th-annual Convention and Exhibition in Scottsdale, AZ.

Mordo’s award honors NAHU members nationwide who have made significant contributions to volunteer service at the local, state and national level. His efforts have helped improve the health insurance industry through his ongoing commitment of time, talent and professional experience.

“The leadership of NAHU members has a far-reaching impact on providing for the healthcare needs of individuals, families and business in their communities. We are grateful for David’s dedication to association volunteer service and recognize him for those efforts with this well-deserved award,” said NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein.

Mordo, vice president of education and compliance for Walsh Benefits in Fair Haven is a resident of Middletown.  He has been in the insurance industry for nearly 35 years.  His NJAHU service is extensive, having taken on leadership roles in the Monmouth/Ocean chapter, such as President, Vice President andLegislative Chair. He then served as statewide Legislative chair for four years. He currently serves as a member of NAHU's Legislative Council.
