Adopt-A-Family for Christmas at Lunch Break

Each holiday season Lunch Break undertakes a huge operation to provide gifts for hundreds of the neediest children from both Monmouth and Ocean Counties.  Through their "Adopt-A-Family" program, new and age-appropriate gifts are distributed to kids--from newborn to 15 years of age.  All this is possible because of the generosity demonstrated by Lunch Break's good friends and neighbors who, in 2012, brought smiles to the faces of over 1,200 children.

Beginning immediately you can visit Lunch Break at 121 Drs. James Parker Blvd. in Red Bank to select a family or families.  And, you need not adopt a whole family--Lunch Break gladly welcomes random gifts and gift cards not attached to any specific family to be distributed to kids who are not adopted.

Once you have finished shopping, please bring bagged and unwrapped gifts (labeled with the family name), or the random gifts and gift cards, to the warehouse Lunch Break has temporarily rented.  The warehouse is located at 968 Shrewsbury Avenue, Unit 7, in Tinton Falls directly behind the Holiday Express warehouse.  Drop off times are Monday through Friday from 10am to 2pm, and Saturday from 11am to 1pm.  The deadline for delivering gifts to the warehouse is December 2.

If you have any questions please contact Sharda Jetwani, Program Director, at 732-784-7360 or online at sjetwani@lunchbreak.org
