Around the towns …
• Be sure to check out our Throwback Thursday tidbit. A look at a Halloween in 1908 reveals some pretty wild stuff.
• There's a sixth grade meeting in Fair Haven about that longstanding traditional trek to Stokes State Forrest. It's slated for 7 p.m. at Knollwood School.
• Author Kimberly Kolb will be talking about love and intrigue and, yes, her adult thriller book Lindsey: Love and Intrigue, a unique look at the high school experience, at 7 p.m. at River Road Books.
Let us know if we've missed anything.
In the meantime, keep the Halloween decoration tips coming and I'll see you around the towns ...
