Soccer Champs, Concert & Booskerdoo

It's what's going on in the Rumson-Fair Haven area on Wednesday.

Happy Wednesday, friends and fans!

OK, the weather outside is, well, not that frightful. Yet, it's supposed to be very cold today and tomorrow. Bundle up!

There are a few things going on in the area to check out.

Around the towns today …

• RFH Boys Soccer — champs! Check out the top story.

• Booskerdoo, in Fair Haven and Monmouth Beach, has a nice fundraiser going on. We'll fill you in later. Stay tuned.

• Get set for the RFH Winter Concert tomorrow night. See our story on the site.

• There are no major applications on the agenda, but Fair Haven's Planning Board meets tonight at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall on River Road, if you're curious. For the agenda, click here.

• Across the river in Middletown, there's a live Advent Calendar at the Middletown Arts Center event tonight.

Each day's event is a surprise, ranging from crafts, musical performances, dance demonstrations and free lessons, according to MAC organizers.

Stop by the MAC, on Church Street next to the Middletown Train Station at 6:30 p.m. to discover Wednesday's program, which is slated to conclude between 7 and 7:30 p.m.

The MAC's live Advent Calendar, which began on Dec. 1, runs through Dec. 24.

• For a little Reggae, Random Test is at Jamian's in Red Bank.

Weather, sun, moon and tides …

• Well, the weather is a bit warmer than predicted, but it's still supposed to be pretty darn cold, warming toward the end of the week.

• For some sun, moon and tide tidbits, click here.

We'll be bringing you some news, feature and business updates.

Until then, I'll see you around the towns ...
