It's what's going on in the Rumson-Fair Haven area on Tuesday.

Good morning, friends and fans.

Let's muster up all the good thoughts and energy we have for Cole Porter, the Shrewsbury cyclist who was seriously injured in the Tour de Fair Haven race on Sunday.

Cole is a triathlete with many friends in the area. Godspeed, Cole!

Today …

The forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 65 degrees. Fall is in the air.

Yet, there's still time to hit the beach. So, here's the tide table for today:

2013-09-17  6:38 AM EDT   Sunrise
2013-09-17  7:50 AM EDT   3.69 feet  High Tide
2013-09-17  1:59 PM EDT  -0.13 feet  Low Tide
2013-09-17  7:01 PM EDT   Sunset
2013-09-17  8:13 PM EDT   4.02 feet  High Tide
2013-09-18  2:28 AM EDT  -0.35 feet  Low Tide
2013-09-18  6:39 AM EDT   Sunrise

And, here's some of that mystical moon and sun information from www.tides4fishing.com:

"Today we begin the day with the moon already visible in the sky, so first we will see the moonset, which will take place at 4:30 am at 259º southwest. Eventually, the moon will rise again in the east (98º) at 5:47 p.m. … The lunar phase is a Waxing Gibbous. Today we will have 12 hours and 21 minutes of sun. The solar transit will be at 12:50 pm and the length of time the moon will be visible will be 10 hours and 43 minutes."

What's going on around the towns …

• Well, it's the second of two school picture days at Knollwood in Fair Haven. Take a look back with us on this milestone day, share your school picture days memories and send us one or two of your own at elaine.develde@patch.com. Come on!

• We have more school information coming later today and news and business updates.

• And, remember to get your backyard garden harvest over to Lunch Break. They really need a boost. More on that later, too.

If we've forgotten anything, let us know.

In the meantime, caption the featured photo or just tell me which scene does it remind you of in what famous movie (not The Birds)?

Meanwhile, I'll see you around the towns …
