Meeting News, Primary, Fair Coming
It's what's going on in the Rumson-Fair Haven area on Tuesday.
OK, friends and fans, it's Tuesday and today is the U.S. Senate primary election day.
Check the site for polling places and more details. We've got it covered.
And after you vote, or not, read Patch. The weather troll says it's going to rain today — a 70 percent chance — with thunderstorms likely after 10 a.m., so it's a good day to catch up, right? And there's a lot going on.
Well, the weather may not be indicative for waterborne fun today, but you still may want to know about the tides for whatever reason, so here's the Sea Bright tide table:

2013-08-13 7:43 AM EDT 0.26 feet Low Tide
2013-08-13 2:23 PM EDT 3.51 feet High Tide
2013-08-13 7:55 PM EDT Sunset
2013-08-13 8:37 PM EDT 0.51 feet Low Tide
2013-08-14 2:37 AM EDT 3.07 feet High Tide

If it's not called off because of rain, Better Off Dead will be showing at Riverside Gardens Park in Red Bank, courtesy of Shore Flicks. All they ask is that you bring non-perishable food for those in need.
Fair Haven had a full agenda of meeting business last night. We'll bring all of that to you. Oh, and don't forget, we still have a throwback video coming with opinions on favorite teachers of all time at RFH. This should offer a fun back-to-school perspective.
Oh, and they're gearing up for the Fair Haven Firemen's Fair! Wow, now that's the official sign that summer is over. That was quick!
We'll be out and about checking on preparations. Clam chowder, anyone? OK, we'll wait.
In the meantime, I'll see you around the towns …
