Flavour & a Jazzy Holiday Weekend Ahead

Happy Wednesday, friends and fans!

It's a slower event day today, but there's a build-up to a very busy holiday-inspired weekend.

We'll be featuring a round-up on that later, highlighting tree lightings and downtown festivities in Rumson and Fair Haven and jazz concert at Fisk Chapel in Fair Haven on Sunday.

For now, there are police stories to catch up on, including a heed-the-warning story about police stepping up enforcement with careless drivers and some new fire and police equipment coming to Fair Haven.

• We'll be looking into a small business update from either Fair Haven or Sea Bright, depending.
