Time to Give Back - Autism Walk is Sunday, April 29!

While I write a lot about makeup and the art of beauty today I am writing about creating beauty in the world around us. I have nephews who are autistic. I have several very close friends as well as clients who have autistic children.  Watching their daily struggles inspires me and leaves me in awe. Recently my friend Allison Walmarks son's video went "viral". He is an amazing talent dontcha think!

Tomorrow [April 29] there is an Autism walk at the Vonage Campus in Holdmel - information about it can be found here.  It is a fun way to spend the day - help raise some money to help families that struggle with this and educate the public.  As you can see by Ethan these children are each amazing.

We need to unlock their potential by donating where and when you can. Come out tomorrow and support our local friendship circle that does so much, not just for the autistic children but for their familes, the teenagers that volunteer and our community!  Hope to see you there!

Thought people might enjoy seeing what Billy Joel had to say regarding my friends son playing the piano:

WASHINGTON POST: Billy Joel praises 6-year-old Ethan Walmark playing ‘Piano Man’ (UPDATED)

Update April 29, 2:01 p.m.: It turns out Billy Joel has seen Ethan Walmark’s
“Piano Man” performance, which went viral over the weekend, and the recording artist is impressed. Joel issued the following statement through a spokesperson Sunday:

I think I like his intro to “Piano Man” better than mine. And this kid plays with a lot more energy than me. Maybe he could teach me a few things.
