Power outage numbers continued to drop across the state Friday.

JCP&L reported in a release on that the majority of customers will be restored by November 7.

The site also contains a .PDF that details the specific areas that are expected to receive power over the coming weekend.

JCP&L reported 703,691 of its nearly 1.1 million customers remained in the dark as of about 4:45 p.m. on Friday, according to its outage map. The number includes 212,291 in Monmouth, down from the 233,899 who were without power Thursday afternoon.

On the site, JCP&L also posted:

"The majority of customers will be restored by next Wednesday. Customers in the hardest-hit areas are expected to be restored in an additional seven days. Remaining customers will be restored once damaged roads, infrastructure and homes are rebuilt. We will provide more information here, on Facebook and on Twitter, as well as through news releases, as it becomes available.

At the peak, more than 1 million of JCP&L’s 1.1 million customers were without power.

Can anyone post the timeframe from which they plan on having the rest of freehold township restored? Since I do not have power, my only access to the internet is via phone and my phone cannot open the pdf file mentioned above. Thank you!

Iorien,
According to the PDF chart: Freehold Township has 9902 without power.
1500 will be restored on 11-2/ 2339 on 11-3/ 1684 on 11-4. They say that 56% of Freehold township will be resored by 11-4. Hope that helps, stay safe and keep praying!

FWIW, their attempt to give a link to a PDF of their plans for restoration leads to a "page not found"

Read that list carefully. Long Branch isn't on it. Thus, it seems JCPL won't do anything to help us for days or even weeks- but they won't say so. "Just leave them off the list and maybe they won't notice - heck, bet most of 'em kaint hardly read good anyway. And remember, JCPL is not liable in any way to anyone ever for failing to provide service, so they can wait until Hades freezes over."

Hey only 43% in Middletown by Sunday so bravo JCP&L! Going to work to pay for gas for generators and fuel to get to work which has moved 2 hours away because they lost power as well. I'm not holding my breath I don't expect power back until next week.

Instead of number of customers in that list, why not streets or at least sections?

Great Idea would be nice to know when it is expected to come back on instead of just giving numbers to people.

I live in Conover Hills in Marlboro. Conover Road has been blocked by a downed utility pole and transformer since the storm hit. Last night I saw 3 cars carelessly bypass the blockade to pass. If careless adults are doing this i am concerned that children are also. Is there any timeframe to get this type of repair made or is this infrastructure and scheduled for who knows when. Power outage is one thing but danger is another, I assume the power is off but still think .this is a potential problem

So what happens if this storm hits us on Wednesday? Do the areas that are still out of power go back to the bottom of the list to wait for restoration? It says parts of holmdel has power, but the only lights I've seen are the ones that are powered by generators. We still have trees laying on power lines in our development, so I'm not sure if Wednesday is realistic for us here. Hopefully they will be able to power us up before another storm comes our way. Stay safe everyone
