Temperatures Expected to Heat Up Today

A round-up of useful information and events happening around Rumson and Fair Haven today

 

Warm Weather At Last: Although there is still a slight chance of showers in the afternoon temperatures will finally warm up today. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to hit a high of 78 today, with a 20% chance of precipitation after 3 p.m. Overnight temperatures will drop to a low around 58 and there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Sport Teams Take A Break: All Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School sport teams have off today.

Knitting Club: The Oceanic Free Library will hold its weekly Knitting Group today at 2 p.m. All are welcome to come and knit. For more information visit http://­www.­oceani­clibrary.­org

Support Group: The Knights of Columbus, Red Bank Council #3187 will hold an AA meeting today. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. This meeting is free and open to all.

Paint the Town Pink Celebrations: Today will be the kick off day for Pinson and Pink Haven’s Paint the Town Pink Events. Pinkson’s Town Tree at the Forrestdale School will be lit in pink lights today for “Premier” Day. The complete schedule of Paint the Town Pink events and deals can be seen here.
