A former councilman and police officer who owns a local storage business placed a monkey statue dressed in an anti-Obama t-shirt in front of his Cedar Grove business on Tuesday. He removed the statue after receiving complaints.

Two New Brunswick Boys Drown in Raritan River

Two New Brunswick boys who vanished Sunday night, were found dead Monday afternoon in the Raritan River. The medical examiner ruled the cause of death for both boys — Francisco Pereira-Rodas, 10, and Devine Nicholas, 11, — an accidental drowning

Bouncer Shot and Killed At Bar

A bouncer at Misty's Bar and Restaurant in West Orange was shot and killed Monday while attempting to break up a fight between patrons in the parking lot, authorities said.

An Orange man, who is still at large, has been identified as a suspect in the murder.
