Society is blame for MTV'S Jersey Shore...I have never seen a show that is so dumb and stupid and senseless...MTV realized that there is a market for this type of show...MTV researched that there are Dumb , stupid and senseless people that would watch this show..They were right..What does this tell you about the intelligence of society today?

I'm no fan of the show. I saw about 2 minutes then changed the channel. But, these people were paid lots of money to party. They got rich partying. Wouldn't you love to get rich doing what you like? Playing golf, watching sports, shopping, fishing, traveling or what ever you enjoy doing. So who's the dummy? If they blow their wealth then I'd agree they are a bunch of idiots. If Snookie puts away money for her kid's college and private education then I'd say she did all right.

Was it just me or did your version of the Patch put the news of Snoopi's birth ahead of Neil Armstrong's death? If this truly reflects our priorities, then I no longer have to wonder why we're in such a mess.

Ok, so I am in no way a fan of that show....but when it comes down to it, the people in the cast don't act too differently than a lot of people act or have acted when they were that age. Sure, she makes herself appear foolishly on tv, but that really has nothing to do with whether she will be a good mom or not. There are lots of great parents who did ridiculous things when they were young and in that partying mode. Just like there can be a parent who has never had a drink been to a club who is terrible at parenting.

Let me guess, her next book will deal with post-partum depression..

@Steve and Uncle Moe unless you both have first hand knowledge of Nicole I just you keep those type comments to yourself. Neither of you are personal friends of hers and I'll bet neither of you were in the delivery room when the baby was born. Neither of you are medical personnel and have no right to judge her. I may not watch Jersey Shore because of my own reasons but I am not going to judge someone solely on their previous actions. Unless you both want your skeletons brought out of your closets regarding parenting or anything else those comments and judgements should be kept to yourselves. I really dislike people who feel they are so rightous and needing to judge others just to make themselves feel better.

I read in another paper ho they cleared the whole maternity ward floor for this troll to have her baby. Why is this stank more important than ALL the other mothers to be? This is why this country is going down the tubes.
