Snapshot: The R-FH Homecoming Win

Homecoming was a win for Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School.
The king and queen were crowned and driven around the Borden Stadium track in a VW Beetle. The game was played under the lights and the Bulldogs emerged victorious once again, with a 30-0 win against Monsignor Donovan High School, Toms River.
The R-FH homecoming has changed over the years. More than a decade ago, there was a standing rivalry game between R-FH and RBC (Red Bank Catholic) on Thanksgiving Day, with a dance full of alumni and prospective kings and queens in the senior lounge.
Then, the homecoming date was switched to October because of better weather conditions and a change of sports rules. And, soon after, R-FH started playing on Friday nights under the lights. The dance was then moved to the night after the game.
Now, there's a Friday night game in October, not played against RBC; and there's no longer a dance, due to low attendance in previous years. There's now a pre-game carnival.
Patch couldn't make it to the carnival in the drizzly weather, and the fog at night didn't make for the best of photographic conditions. Tell us what you think of the new tradition.
