Rumson Road Closure Thursday Night
Police say traffic will be detoured for emergency repairs
An alert was issued by police on Wednesday afternoon that a portion of Rumson Road would be closed overnight on Thursday for emergency repairs.
Traffic driving on the eastbound portion of the road will be detoured down Markham Place starting at 11 p.m. on Sept. 21 through 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
The reason for the detour: NJ American Water Co. will be repairing a hydrant.
