Rainy Saturday Sights on the Navesink

From downpour to drizzle, the scene along the river in Rumson and Fair Haven was serene

A severe weather alert was issued early on Saturday and some of it, not all, touched down on the Rumson-Fair Haven peninsula.

When the rain hit the area on Saturday evening, it went from downpour to drizzle quicky.

The banks of the Navesink were calm from the Fair Haven dock to Victory Park in Rumson.

A couple of local girls took a fearless stroll in Fair Haven while no one was to be seen anywhere else by the water.

Take a look at some of the sights along the river before the skies cleared in the photo gallery above.
