It was a great day for a run and a party.

No sooner did the snow melt than the weather took a turn for the better and it became a perfect day for the 12th Annual Fun Run, sponsored by the Rumson-based KDM Foundation, after 9/11 victim Keith McHeffey.

This year, all proceeds from the run were allocated to benefit Sea Bright Recreation and its activities.

After the run, Chris Wood, owner of Woody's Ocean Grille had a tent set up in front of his restaurant with drinks, food and a band.
