Eight local restaurants will offer diners deals and meals during the month of March. For the past four years, guests have been welcomed into local restaurants to treat themselves to a night of delicious food, without traveling far or spending a lot of money.
Thursday, March 1 will begin the fourth year of Rumson's Restaurant Month. The eight restaurants participating in Restaurant Month are Barnacle Bill’s, David Burke Fromagerie, Molly Maguire’s Blackpoint Inn (formally Murray and MacGregor’s), Ristorante Giorgia, Salt Creek Grille, Undici, Val’s Tavern and What’s Your Beef. Each restaurant will feature specials and deals on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the month of March.
Rumson Mayor John Ekdahl has commended all the restaurants participating in Restaurant Month on their comradely and urged each owner to dine at each other’s restaurants. Ekdahl also voiced that he plans to participate in restaurant week, by dining at all of the participating establishments.
In a press release about the upcoming event, Ekdahl said, “With special dining deals and welcoming restaurants, Restaurant Month is a great way for people from outside of the area to experience restaurants that they may have never visited before; and for those of us in town it’s a great excuse to dine out close to home.”
