Initial Snow Forecast Pushed to Thursday and Friday

Monmouth County will continue to feel heavy wind.

Monmouth County residents woke up expecting to see messy roads and snowfall, but winds have slowed the storm as it travels up the east coast.

According to the National Weather Service, Monmouth County will begin to see nor'easter mix of snow and rain, with heavy snow beginning around 6 p.m.

Initial snowfall counts have lowered.

The county is still under a coastal flood warning through 9 a.m. Friday. High tide will occur along the shores begin 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in northeast Monmouth County.

Thursday is forecasted at a high of 43 degrees and a low of 32 degrees, but wind chill means grab your heavy winter coat and scarf.
