Fair Haven to Hold Emergency Meeting
Meeting on issues to be dealt with in Hurricane Sandy's aftermath
Notice has been issued that, due to the destruction of Hurricane Sandy, there will be an emergency Fair Haven Borough Council meeting at 3 p.m. on Friday at the Youth Center, Fisk Street.
The meeting is being held "to discuss the borough's actions in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, with reports/updates from the following borough departments: Administration, Police Department, Department of Public Works, Office of Emergency Management," the resolution authorizing the meeting said.
Most of the borough is still without electricity and many wires and trees were felled by the stor
The agenda indicates that all departments, at the time of the meeting, will report on progress and advisories.
