Beating the Heat: Boating in Rumson
Yachting, boating on the Shrewsbury River: Do you know whose yacht this is?
Before the heat wave hit, yesterday was a banner day for boating on both the Rumson and Sea Bright sides of the Shrewsbury River.
Among the waterborne sights to be seen was an Islander yacht, taking pause on the Sea Bright side of the river's canal.
Whose boat is that, anyway? Tell us in the comments section if you know.

Jillian and I saw this yacht parked by the docks at McLoone's in Sea Bright last night on our way back from Chilango's from dinner. My daughter noticed it right away. Not sure who it belongs to.

It has been docked in Sea Bright and now across in Rumson for the last 8 plus months. The crew was very nice and I'm told you can rent it out for a coll $250K for the week - do you think they will take a check?
The Ray Catena boat is in front of McLoones - it is gorgeous!

I think Islander is the brand, not its name. Maybe Patch will visit and see what's going on. Pretty spectacular, huh? ;)

Most large vessels on that part of the river belong to the Cantor family. Not sure completely but the family once held interest in boat building.. that story goes back to the very large ship with the towering masts parked behind their house about 5 years ago.. Also.. I thought that Ray Catena was dock in Atlantic??
