5 Things to Know Today: March 7

A round-up of useful information and events happening around Rumson and Fair Haven today.

 
  1. Warmer Temperatures: According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny and breezy, with a high near 57. Tonight skies will be mostly clear with a low around 43.
  2. Meetings: The Rumson Shade Tree Commission will meet today in Borough Hall at 4 p.m.
  3. Support Groups: St. George's By the River and will have two AA meetings today. Both groups are free to attend, the first group will meet at 10 a.m. and the second group will meet at 8:30 p.m.
  4. School Events: A) In View Testing will continue today for Fair Haven students in second, fourth, and sixth grade. New students in third, fifth, and seventh grade will also be tested today. B) There will be a Differentiation Workshop for Fair Haven parents tonight at the Knollwood Elementary School Media Center. The workshop will begin at 7 p.m. C) Night conferences will be held tonight at the Deane-Porter Elementary School
  5. Bridge Club: The Congregation B'nai Israel will hold their weekly bridge club meeting today. The group will meet from 10 a.m. until noon and all are welcome to participate. If you have any questions about the bridge club, please contact the Synagogue and ask for a representative of the bridge club.
